Advanced Centre for Ferrari & Maserati Launched in Riyadh

Fast Auto Technic, the sole dealer of Ferrari and Maserati in Saudi Arabia, opened its most advanced integrated center for Ferrari and Maserati cars in the Middle East, here yesterday.

The new center built on an area of 4,000 square meters, has a showroom for cars, designed and equipped to meet the highest standards of both brands, a reception hall, after-sale services section and a large spare parts warehouse.

The ground floor of the new center contains quick maintenance section fully equipped with latest tools and equipment along with spare parts section, while the upper floor contains special section for wide range of personal luxury accessories such as clothes, neck ties, gloves, branded briefcases, as well models of classic and sporty Ferrari and Maserati cars, plus books about the history of the two renowned companies.

Speaking at the press briefing,
Mamdouh Khayyat, General Manager of Fast Auto Technic, described the launch of the showroom as a new beginning for Fast Auto Technic business and its continuation of the development plan to meet the rising demand for luxury cars. “The demand for Ferrari and Maserati cars was so high that in 2007 compared to 2006, Ferrari sales increased by 257 percent, while Maserati sales increased by 322 percent,” he said.

“The new centre in Riyadh will help us deal very effectively with our customers in both Riyadh and Jeddah and will further contribute to the growth of the company in the region in general. “ Riyadh market constitutes the backbone of our sales, which is economically and commercially important area in the Middle East. This demonstrated through the high rates of international investments, in addition to the presence of a large number of high-income individuals. All these factors made the city of Riyadh a point of attraction of many sectors including luxury cars sector.“

Commenting on the Company’s investments and development plans, he said: “Fast center in Riyadh is the beginning of a long-term marketing plan for expansion, we have plans to invest over SR. 40 m for the development of our centers in Jeddah and the opening of a third center in the eastern region. We, as well, adopted various marketing and driving training programs to serve our clients better and develop our relationship with them.”

Various models of Ferrari such as “F-430” Spider and the new model 612 Scaglietti ( 1 To 1 ) are being displayed at the new showroom along with Maserati new model GranTurismo S, both the cars were unveiled at Geneva International Motor show recently.
