See the World Costliest Car

JEDDAH  – The most expensive car in the world, a black Rolls Royce costing about SR3 million, is on display at the third Luxury Motor Show that was inaugurated by Prince Misha’l Bin Majed, governor of Jeddah, Sunday at Jeddah Hilton Hall.

Some 50 luxury cars and sport cars are on display at three-day event, costing in total approximately SR 40 million.

The 2,600-square-meter exhibition area also includes other luxury machines like yachts, motorcycles, boats, and jet skis.

“We have around 15, 000 luxury vehicles in the Kingdom at estimated cost of SR 4 billion,” said Adel Abdul Shakur, executive manager of XS Company for Conferences and Exhibitions, during a special Traffic Safety Forum that preceded the show’s opening.

“The annual growth average of such vehicles is approximately 15 percent and the market volume exceeds an amount of SR22 billions,” he said
The retail percentage, Abdul Shakour added, has soared up to 27 percent last year in the Saudi market, he said.

The safety forum which was held at Hilton’s Al-Qasr Hall was addressed by Major Hatim Al-Ghamedi who focused on the importance of raising awareness of safety rules among families of youngsters who own such sport cars or motorcycles.

Saudi Rally champion Mamdouh Khayyat said there is an urgent need to organize a sports car event like a rally.

“The Saudi government has approved the establishment of a Saudi Sports Car Federation, which is the first step towards such an event,” he said.

Alhamrani United Company (AUC) has put on show two new brands of Infiniti models, the EX crossover and the G37 Coupe, both of which have been globally launched,” said Dr. Osman Hayat, AUC general manager of marketing.


The EZ cabin is equipped with two rows of five seats and “intricately finalized with the unique Infiniti design of high-tech equipment,” he said.
